Here is a little information about Tesco Mobile:

Tesco Mobile is a network owned by the brand Tesco (famous for its grocery stores) that operates in the UK,
Ireland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. Tesco Mobile uses o2 Network as it’s carrier in the UK,
Slovakia and the Czech Republic; In Ireland it uses Three Ireland and in Hungary it uses Vodafone. At
Mobile Repeater UK, we have designed a solution for every one of these countries. We have meticulously
calculated and tested a mobile booster for every kind of signal problem, and over more than 10 years we have put
together this collection of Tesco signal boosters to better suit your complications when it comes
to poor mobile signal.
Tesco Signal Booster - how it works
Mobile Repeater’s Tesco signal boosters are composed of 4 simple parts: an exterior antenna that receives and
amplifies your Tesco signal from proximate cell phone towers, coaxial cables, the signal amplifier, and an indoor
rebroadcast antenna. So, the Tesco signal booster's antenna will communicate with Tesco’s central station and the
Tesco Mobile booster then sends that Tesco signal into the home/office/enterprise in which the booster is
installed. These Tesco signal boosters work as 4G boosters, as well as voice. Another important
factor concerning our Tesco mobile boosters is that they do not require an internet connection to work.
Here is an illustrated example of how it works in your building:
What is the cause of my poor mobile signal?
There are various factors that cause poor mobile signal. Most probably, the trigger of
your poor Tesco signal is presumably due to the
construction materials used in your building. Your
cell signals are interrupted when passed through metal and other materials within the walls of your home or
business, which is perhaps why you might gain two or three bars when you go outside. You can’t

make all of your calls outside, and we understand that. But, you can set up a
Tesco signal booster inside the building, directing the signal you receive outside towards the inside of your
building by routing it to an internal antenna within the walls of your home or office.
Other than the building materials used in the construction of your building, o2 network (Tesco’s carrier) is
unfortunately noted for their “black out” areas, also known as “dead zones”. These areas usually have 1-2 bars of
Tesco signal, but due to previously mentioned catalysts, you may get 0 bars inside. When you are plagued with this
kind of problem, the only definitive solution is installing a Tesco signal booster, and that’s why
we’re here!
How to find the right Tesco Mobile booster for me
To find the right solution for you, you must keep in mind that our different types of Tesco mobile repeaters are
contingent to both the size of the building you are trying to cover and the frequency your network runs on. So,
a good place to start is calculating the surface area you would like to boost and following up by
looking into your network’s “frequency band”. Our Tesco signal repeaters cover almost any surface area you’d need,
starting at 250sqm, all the way up to 5000sqm. We also offer solutions for office buildings, mobile homes, even
vehicles and boats!
Tesco runs on an 1800 MHz band for GSM voice calls, and 1800/2600 MHz band for 4G connection. You’ll see below
that our Tesco signal boosters run on these exact frequency bands, since giving you a perfect solution is
always our aim. Due to their matching frequencies, these repeaters also amplify networks such as o2,
Orange, Vodafone, and EE.
Our custom made Tesco signal boosters
In the case of covering larger offices or large homes with your Tesco signal, Mobile Repeater recommends a
custom made building solution. All of our solutions are CE certified and have full reports
completed before and after installation to ensure they fulfill all the best practice guidelines for mobile repeater
installations. These custom made solutions allow you to cover 2,3,4,5, etc. level buildings; giving you the
elasticity to provide Tesco signal in areas you would have never been able to have signal in before. If you have
poor Tesco signal outside, you'll want to upgrade your external antenna to a MR Yagi, since it's a high gain
antenna. These are usually best in areas that are in a “black spot” such as a dip or valley, and/or in one of o2
and Tesco’s “dead zones”.
